Who is Influence?
Established in 2001, Influence Communication is Canada's top information broker and aggregator.
We seek out, find and compile news items from around the globe related to our clients' specific needs from four key sources:
- Newspapers
- Radio
- Television
- Internet
We guarantee timely delivery of press reviews and breaking news.
Our brokerage activities are backed by a network of some 30 partner organizations worldwide, which have a combined total of over 2,000 employees and 300 offices, as well as more than 10 offices throughout Québec. In addition to media monitoring, we provide customized competitor monitoring and quantitative analysis services to our clients.
We currently serve over 150 individual clients and PR firms. Among the prominent organizations that use our Interactive Communication Environment (ICE) system are the Chaire de relations publiques de l'UQAM and the Société des relationnistes du Québec.
In 2003, on behalf of Bombardier and its various divisions, Deloitte Consulting conducted an in-depth analysis of the media monitoring and information aggregation services supplied by 43 firms around the world. Its findings showed that Influence and its ICE system are the best solution on the market.
Our far-reaching network enables us to ensure comprehensive coverage of breaking news from the four corners of the planet within 60 minutes. It is also a powerful asset when it comes to thorough coverage of local news.
Moreover, we make full use of this extensive network to fully customize our services for each of our clients, carefully selecting the partners that best correspond to their individual needs. And because we are an information broker, we offer many different levels of service agreements with guaranteed delivery times-which are generally faster than those of our competitors.
We also run a 24/7 hotline so that our clients can get in touch with a member of our customer service team at any time of the day or night. This means that an agent is always at the ready to find the information a client needs, regardless of what or where it is. A single call-to a single person-is all it takes to set the wheels in motion. We call this "the one-stop approach."
The same notions of immediate availability and action apply to the ICE aggregation platform, which bundles all types and sources of information into a single package.
